Measuring the temperature:

 Aim the thermometer on the target and press the 

“Meas.” key to take the temperature.   

 

  

 

 
 

Note: 

Since the viewing angle of TN1 is large, please keep the thermometer as near as 

1~2cm to the target to get the accurate target temperature. The information of viewing 
angle and area is shown on the sticker attached on the rear side of the thermometer. 
 
 

Warning: 

 

This Infrared Thermometer (TN1) is calibrated for Emissivity=0.95 only.  Most of 

Non-metal materials have emissivity near to 0.95. But the infrared emissivity of 

normal metal is much lower. TN1 may give error reading for such materials. For 

example, a 100

 °

C boiling pot (aluminum, emissivity~0.3) may show only 50

 °

C, 

when you measure the temperature of the aluminum! 

 
 

 

4. 

Power off:

 Device will automatically shut off if left idle for more than 15sec to 

extend battery life.
