The electric fields from a piece of apparatus are
influenced by the design of the instrument. Field
Finder is intended to give simple, general measu-
rements. If you want to carry out a more precise
analysis of the electrical environment, you should
use an instrument that has been designed in accor-
dance with MPR II. Field Finder does not satisfy
the requirements of MPR II, but the instrument
has been calibrated to produce the same results
when measuring electric fields at a distance of
50 cm from a VDU. Some measurement objects
may emit alternating fields with frequencies
beyond that which Field Finder can manage.
