Troubleshooting
No connection to your Ultimate
Connect
Please make sure that your vehicle’s ignition is in “start” mode. The Ultimate
Connect must be supplied with power for a pairing to work.
Also check whether Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone.
Displayed vehicle information is
incorrect
If the information displayed by the RaceChip app does not match your actual
vehicle information, please contact our Customer Service staff.
No performance boost
– I am not
satisfied with the performance level
of my vehicle
The RaceChip Ultimate Connect offers you the option of choosing between 3
power levels: Efficiency <Sport < Race.
If none of the 3 individual settings appeal to you, RaceChip Ultimate Connect
can receive live updates from our Customer Service department.
The RaceChip app opens up new possibilities for you in using RaceChip’s
technical expertise. The app settings were already fine-tuned to your engine
when you got the app, but if you want to make additional fine adjustments, we
can adjust the settings for you on an individual basis and then simply make
them available for download. This process takes only a few minutes of your
time.
Just contact our Customer Service staff and we can adapt your settings via the
Internet and perform the required adjustment.
Rattling - My engine is rattling.
If your engine is rattling, please contact our Customer Service staff.
Knocking
- My engine knocks.
If your engine knocks, simply contact our Customer Service staff.
The vehicle does not start - After
the installation of the RaceChip, the
vehicle’s ignition does not work.
Please make sure that you have installed the chip in accordance with these
instructions. If you are not able to find the cause of the fault, please contact our
Customer Service staff.
