5. Attach the remaining lower connector
to its adjacent vehicle LATCH anchor.
(Fig. E).
6. Secure the lower connector strap with
rear facing belt guides on both sides
(Fig. F & G).
7. Push the child restraint firmly into the
vehicle seat while pulling the lower
connector strap tight
(Fig. H).
8. Verify that all connections are secure.

The child restraint is secure when it
cannot be moved more than 1 in. (2.5
cm) front-to back or side-to-side at
the belt path. If the child restraint is
not secure, repeat the process or use
an alternate seating location.
