9.2.1.5 Device Type
The device have work in three ways::
Generic: The alarms of forward ande reflected power are disabled.
Pj : The alarms of forward and reflected power are enabled and the machine connected
to to solid state system.
Vj: The alarms of forward and reflected power are enabled and the machine connected
to to tube amplifier system.
To determine therefore the operation mode is acted on the switches like described
in table.

9.2.1.6 Attenuation thresholds of the standard alarms standard
This possibility regards only the standard alarms standard (forward and reflected
power) and for the corrected operation of device on systems that work with reduced
power they can reduce the threshold of the alarms acting like described in table. In
case of normal operation the alarm releases at 50% of the present tension of the first
2 balanced inputs of the first card of telemetry. Setting, therefore, one attenuation of
3dB will have alarm at 32% (50% - 18% = 32%) of the maximum tension (5V).

9.2.1.7 Alarms disabilization
Is possible disable the standard alarms (forward and reflected power) also in case
of devices connected to standard RVR systems (Pj and Vj) acting on Sw22.3 and
placing it in ON.
The user alarms can also be disabled (those setted from PC) acting on Sw 23.3 and
placing it in ON.
