Removal protection for 2-hole mounting plate
The mounting plate for 2-hole mounting contains a lock to protect the smoke alarm device
against unauthorised removal.
To use the lock:
1.
Open the intended positions by removing the webs on the smoke detector housing, see

When installing the
smoke alarm
device, the lock

plate engages in an
opening.

To release the lock:
1.
Push the lock back through the opening with a screwdriver or similar.

The position of the lock is indicated by the mark

2.
Turn the smoke detector counterclockwise off the mounting plate.
