For the minimum equipment, install at least one smoke alarm in each bedroom, children‘s
room and in the corridors.
In many federal states the equipment with smoke detectors in these rooms and the escape
route is already required by law. Further information on the legal requirements can be found at
www.qundis.de.
For optimum equipment, install at least one smoke alarm in all rooms and corridors. Mount the
smoke alarms in such a way that fire smoke can reach the detector unhindered, allowing early
detection. Optimum equipment is always recommended. This ensures comprehensive protec

tion even after a room conversion that is not displayed.
