Battery Charger
Inspect all accessories for:
• Cuts or abrasions in the cables
• Cracks or broken connections
• Excessive corrosion on any connections
• Damaged housing
• Secure connection at AC electrical outlet
Problem

All of the lights turn
on when I plug the
charger in then
turn off.
The power light
does not turn on
when I plug the unit
into the AC outlet.
The Fault light is on

Poor electrical connection.
No battery voltage is being
detected, the battery may be
very low.
The clamps disconnected during
charging.
Reverse polarity connection:
The battery cannot be rescued
Short circuit in connection.
The battery’s voltage is too high
to accept charge. Confirm the
battery is 12 volt or 6 volt
The battery may be extremely low be-
yond ability to accept a charge or may be
defective. Have the battery checked by a
professional technician or replaced.
Reconnect the clamps to the battery
terminals. Then press Mode button to
proceed.
Check and correct the connection.
Then press Mode button to proceed.
The battery may be defective. Make sure
there are no loads on the battery. If there
are, remove them. If there are none, have
the battery checked or replaced.
Check the clamps and reconnect to
the battery terminals. Then press Mode
button to proceed.
Unplug the charger, only use this charger
for 12 volt or 6 volt batteries
No problem; this is normal.
Check for tripped breaker or open fuse
supplying the outlet.
Check power cord or extension cord for
a loose fitting plug; secure connection

Battery Charger Limited Warranty
The Manufacturer warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for Two (2)
years from the date of original retail purchase. Quick Cable will, at its option, repair or replace
defective units. Quick Cable encourages you to register your product at www.quickcable.com/
register and to retain your original sales receipt with this manual for warranty purposes. Damage
caused by misuse or improper connections, failure to follow prescribed operating instructions,
impact damage, or negligence is not covered by this warranty. The manufacturer reserves the
right to inspect units for improper use in determining warranty coverage.
EXCEPT FOR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT MADE AND SPE-
CIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITEDTO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. THIS LIMITED, CONDITIONAL WARRANTY PROVIDES THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
FOR ANY CLAIM OR DAMAGE EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY LAW. This warranty
excludes and does not cover defects or failures of your BATTERY CHARGER due to any cause
other than defects in material or workmanship, including without limitation any malfunctions or
failures caused by repairs made by an unauthorized person, mishandling, modifications, normal
wear, improper storage and unreasonable use or damage. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MAN-
UFACTURER BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. Some states
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Any claim relating to the Battery
Charger must be submitted within two (2) years of purchase and must be returned to the place
of purchase. If any portion of this warranty or limitation of rights and remedies is found to be
unenforceable, then the remainder of this document shall remain in full force and effect.
