FIVE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Chubb warrants to the original consumer purchaser that each new CO
Alarm will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal
use for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Chubb agrees to
replace any defective CO Alarm upon presentation of the proof of
purchase. This warranty does not apply where damage to the CO
Alarm is caused by accidents, misuse, abuse or lack of reasonable care.
THE PURCHASER'S ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO THE APPLICABLE
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW PROVISIONS UNDER THE
COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT 2010. Our goods come with guar-
antees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You
are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for com-
pensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be
of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Subject to these non-excludable laws, Chubb will not be liable for any
injury to persons or damage to property or for any special or indirect or
consequential loss or damage whatsoever and whether as a result of
negligence or fault on the part of Chubb or its servants, agents, suppliers
and contractors or otherwise arising out of or resulting from, whether
directly or indirectly, the use, installation or maintenance of the CO
Alarm. Any implied warranties or representations are excluded unless
expressly given by Chubb. The AA batteries included with this CO Alarm
is excluded from the Chubb 5 year limited warranty.

LEAVE THIS MANUAL OR A COPY WITH THE END USER.
