PC Manager Tool Quick Start
After these steps, GL300M Series will have some
basic tracking functions such as fixed time report
and Geo-Fence. For other advanced functions of
GL300M, please refer to “GL300M Series @Track
Air Interface Protocol” or visit our website.

Run the Manager Tool. Select correct COM port and
input default password “gl300m”. Then press OK.
If you want to test the GL300M Series via SMS, set “Report
Mode” to “Force on SMS” and input the phone number to
receive the SMS from GL300M Series. After that, go to Step
6. Otherwise, please go to Step 3.
Set “Report Mode” to “TCP Short Connection”. Input the IP
address and port number of the backend server. Please make
sure the IP address can be accessed over the internet and the
data sent to this address can be received.
Please contact your SIM card provider to get the user
information for UMTS. Input it in GTBSI setting.
Press “Send” button and update the parameters of
GL300M Series. Then the GL300M Series can report
information to your backend server or SMS receiver.
Note: These commands can also be sent to GL300M
Series via SMS.
Command has been accepted when you see the window
shown below.
Set the parameters of fixed time report so that the GL300M
Series will report its position to backend server periodically.
Press “Send” button to update the parameters.
Following screenshot shows how to configure the GL300M Series
to report its position every 3 minutes.
The following screenshot shows how to create a Geo-
Fence. Press “Send” button to update the parameters.
