Removing a Hard Drive Blank
Required Tools:
None.
Removing a Hard Drive Blank
Caution:
To prevent overheating, do not leave a slot open for more than 5
minutes.
To remove a hard drive blank, complete the following steps:

If installed, remove the front bezel:
a
Unlock the key lock at the left end of the bezel (see
Figure
1
).
b
Lift the release latch next to the key lock.
c
Rotate the left end of the bezel away from the front panel.
d
Unhook the right end of the bezel and pull the bezel away from the
chassis of the top Scalar LTFS Appliance.
