Power Cycling Procedures

Power cycling procedures vary according to the type of power supply included within the chassis.

For RAID chassis and expansion chassis configured with switchless AC power supplies, refer to the
procedure described in AC Power Supply

l

For procedures pertaining to a) RAID chassis configured with DC power supplies, or b) previously
installed expansion chassis featuring power switches, see DC Power Supplies with Power Switch

.

AC Power Supply

RAID chassis and expansion chassis configured with switchless power supplies rely on the power cord for
power cycling. Power-on the chassis by connecting the cord from the power supply power cord connector to
the appropriate power source; power-off the chassis by disconnecting the cord from the power source.
