Installing a Replacement Power Supply in the Node

To install the replacement power supply in the DXi6900 G2 Node:

1. Slide the replacement power supply into the chassis until the power supply is fully seated and the 

release latch snaps into place (see 

Figure 42 above

).

2. Connect the power cable to the power supply and plug the cable into a power outlet.

3. Secure the power cable with the strap.

Allow several seconds for the system to recognize the power supply and determine its status. The power 
supply status indicator turns green to signify that the power supply is functioning properly.

4. In the remote management console, delete any administrative alerts and close any service tickets.
