QE7044 

OPERATION 

 

There may be a trace of smoke or odour during the first few minutes of initial use or when the unit has not been used 
for a period of time. This is quite normal and will quickly disappear. 

 

FROM THE FRONT PANEL 

 

To switch on the appliance press the ON/OFF button on the front panel of the heater. This will switch the FAN on and 
open the vanes. 

 

Pressing the ON/OFF again selects 1000W low heat setting. 

 

Press the ON/OFF button again to select the 2000W high heat setting. 

 

Press again to turn vane swing ON. 

 

Pressing the ON/OFF button again turns ON the IONIZER function. 

 

Press again to turn the unit OFF. 

 

The timer can be set from ½ hour to 7 ½ hours by pressing the TIMER button which steps up ½ hour with  
each press. 

 

FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL 

 

The remote control requires two AAA batteries. (not supplied) 

 

To switch on the unit press the red ON/OFF button on the remote control to switch on the FAN and open the vanes. 

 

Pressing the HEATER button will select the low heat setting. (1000W) 

 

Press the HEATER button again to select the high heat setting. (2000W)  

 

The ambient temperature of the room can be controlled from 18C to 30C by pressing the UP or DOWN to select the 
required temperature.   

 

The timer can be set from ½ hour to 7 ½ hours by pressing the TIMER button which steps up 
½ hour with each press. 

 

Press the SWING button to start the vane swinging. 

 

To turn off the unit press the red ON/OFF button. 

 

IONIZER 

The ionizer will neutralize any airborne pollutants (pollen etc..) To turn on the IONIZER press the IONIZER button.  

 

ATTENTION.  

When the unit is switched off the unit will continue to blow cool air for 60 seconds before shutting down. 

 

A thermal overload protector is built into the unit to prevent overheating. 
If the unit overheats it will shut down automatically. 

 

As the unit senses the air being drawn into the unit and the fact that heat rises, the unit may switch off before all of 
the room is fully up to temperature.
