3.3.2
The layout of the 9-pin D-Sub connector
The +5V operating voltage at the first pin, is not switched by the MOSFET and is
therefore available independently from the setting of the main and the DIP switch.
All the other operating voltages will be controlled by the setting on the DIP switch.
3.3.3
DIP switch settings
All switches switched to “OFF” is the default configuration for the ISA extender. If
SW1 is set to „OFF“ all the bus signals are passed through the upper ISA slot on top
of the extender. All operating voltages are switched by the MOSFETs to the slot on
top of the card if SW2 or SW3 are "OFF" and the master switch is switched on.
In some situations VCC and 5V are completely switched off but the voltages are
available at the upper slot. This is the result of a feedback through the signal lines.
