StARtING

Connect the plug to the mains and switch 

ON.

the switchbox is provided with a lock-off 

button to prevent accidental starting.

With one hand press and hold the safety 

button (D1),with the other hand squeeze 
the switch lever (D2) towards the handle, 
and release the safety lock off button. The 

machine is now started , wait until the motor 

is at full speed before cutting the grass. The 

switch lever should be continuously engaged 

to keep the lawn mower switched on.

Simply release the switch lever and the lawn 

mower will switch off.

2. AdJuStING the cuttING heIGht (See fig e)

WARNING! 

Stop the machine and 

release the switch lever. Unplug the 

mains cable from the power supply and wait 

for the blade to come to a complete stop. 

Caution the blade will continue to rotate 
after the machine is switched off, a rotating 

blade can cause injury.

cAutIoN:

  Do not touch rotating blades.

The lawnmower can be set to 6 cutting 

heights between 20 mm and 70 mm.  
1. Move the cutting height adjustment 
lever outwards then adjust to the preferred 
position.
2. This system will adjust all four wheels at the 
same time, up or down.

For cutting convenience, it may be best to 
start mowing at a point close to the power 
supply and to work your way away from 

the supply.  Mow the lawn at a right angle 

from the power supply and place the power 
cable to the side of the lawn which has 

already been cut.

Note: 

The motor is protected by a safety 

cut out which is activated when the 

blade becomes jammed or if the motor 
is overloaded. When this occurs stop the 

machine, remove the plug from the power 

supply. The safety cut out will only reset when 
the switch lever (2) is released. Clear any 

obstruction and wait for a few minutes for the 
safety cut out to reset before continuing to 

use the mower. At this time do not operate 

the switch lever (2) as this will prolong the 

reset time of the safety cut out. If the mower 

cuts out again increase the height of cut to 

reduce the load on the motor.
