5. Other features
Key lock
☞
The key lock prevents functions assigned to buttons being activated
inadvertently. Incoming calls can still be taken in the normal way even when the
key lock function is activated.
… press and hold until the icon appears in the display. For unlocking
the keypad press and hold the #-key until the icon disappears.
Switching the handset ringer on/off
You can turn off the handset ringer via a procedure as well (refer to chapter
“Ringtone“).
… press and hold until the icon appears in the display. For turning
the ringer on again press and hold the star-key until the icon
disappears.
6. Settings
Language
You can set the display language.
… press, select HANDSET using and press
Select LANGUAGE and press
Select a language and press
Date / Time
For a correct time stamp for entries in the caller list you have to enter time
and date.
… press, select DATE/TIME using and press
Enter the year using the digit keys and press
Enter in the same way month, day, hour and minute and confirm each
entry by pressing
Handset ringer
… press, select HANDSET using and press
Select RINGTONE and press
Select EXTERNAL, INTERNAL or VOLUME and press
Select the desired melody and volume and press
