May 2013

Diagnostic Counters

The AN-X2-GENI maintains the following diagnostic counters.

Counter

Offset

Description

TxFrames

Transmitted network frames

TxMsgs

Transmitted network messages (datagrams)

RxFrames

Received network frames

RxMsgs

Received network messages (datagrams)

RxDup

Received duplicate frames

RxCrcErr

Received frames with a CRC error

RxStopErr

Received frames with a stop error

RxAbortErr

Received frames with an abort error

RxOverrunErr

Received frames with an overrun error

NoToken

No tokens received from network

To map the diagnostic counters, include a line with just the keyword DiagCtrs in the
input section of a connection.  This maps all the diagnostic counters (10 words); they
cannot be mapped individually.

Example:

, DiagCtrs

Block Error Table

The block error table consists of 2 16-bit words, one bit per serial bus address.  Bit 0 of
the first word corresponds to serial bus address 0, bit 1 corresponds to serial bus address
1, and so on.

If a  configured block is not active on the network, the bit is 1.  If a configured block is
active on the network, the bit is 0.  The bit is always 0 for an unconfigured block.

To map the block error table, include a line with just the keyword BlockErr.

Example:

, BlockErr
