Using Phone Features
To mute a call
You can turn off the microphone during a call, so that you can hear the
caller but the caller cannot hear you.
• During a call, tap Mute .
• When the microphone is turned off, the icon appears on the
screen. Tap Unmute to turn on the microphone again.
3.8 Additional Dialing Information
Make an emergency call
• Enter the international emergency number for your locale, and
tap Talk .
Tip Additional emergency numbers may be included in your SIM card.
Contact your service provider for details.
Make an international call
1. Tap and hold on the Phone keypad until the + sign
appears. The + replaces the international prefix of the country
that you are calling.
2. Enter the full phone number you want to dial, and tap Talk . The
full phone number includes country code, area code (without the
leading zero, if any) and phone number.
SIM Tool Kit (STK)
A SIM card must be inserted in your device in order to use this feature,
which allows you to access a range of information services provided by
your service provider.
1. Tap Start > Programs > STK . A list of provided services
appears.
