Turn on and off flight mode
In many countries you are required by law to turn off your phone on-
board an aircraft. Turning off the power doesn’t turn off the phone. You
must activate flight mode in order to turn off the phone.
You can turn on flight mode and still keep your device turned on and
use other functions.
• Tap the Signal icon, and tap Turn on flight mode to turn off the
phone.
• To resume call function, make flight mode unavailable by tapping
Turn off flight mode .
Adjust the device volume
1. Tap the Speaker icon ( ).

Under Volume, do the following:
• Adjust the phone volume ( ) or device volume ( ) by
moving the slider to the desired volume level.
• Tap On , Vibrate , or Off to change both the system and ringer
volume settings.
