To Supply Water to the 1” NPSH Discharge
1
. Connect your hose
fitting to the 1” NPSH discharge outlet.
2. Lay out the hose, open the discharge valve slowly (
Figure 2, Item 3
) to charge the
line and supply water to the nozzle.
STOPPING YOUR QTAC
1. If opened, gradually close the shut-off valve at the end of the discharge hose
2. Decrease the throttle on the pump engine to the idle position (
Figure 3, Item 2
).

Set the engine switch to the “OFF” position (
Figure 3, Item 6
)
Deploying the Folding Litter Carrier
1.
Lower the litter carrier extension so that the two extension stops rest
against the reinforcing plate on the water tank (
Figure 4, Item 2
)
2.
As needed, adjust the extension stops so that the litter carrier extension is
level.
3.
With the litter carrier extension in the down position, adjust the locking pin
so that it engages the drilled hole in the reinforcing plate.
4.
Tighten the locking pin wing nut so that the litter carrier extension is
securely held in position.
5.
Raising the litter carrier extension is a reversal of the steps above.
