Connect switch to harness—MUST be mounted
where it’s easily accessible to the occupant.
QUANTUM® and Mounting Plate
Temporarily install
QUANTUM® onto
Mounting Plate
The QUANTUM® will tilt forward because of its
weight. Do NOT let it fall forward instead place it
gently in the forward position.

uninstall QUANTUM®,
MUST be near an
accessible entrance
Fully extend the QUANTUM® Arms. The Non-Rotational
Arm when in the maximum arm width of 33.14” (842mm)
from the Rotational Arm cannot be closer to the wall or the
thin flip-up theatre seats than 0.25” (6.35mm).
Mounting Plate
Permanently install
Mounting Plate onto
floor
MUST be mounted onto a flat and durable surface.
Before drilling inspect the underside of the vehicle
for any obstructions.
QUANTUM® Securement
System and Backrest
Install Backrest onto
QUANTUM® and System
onto Mounting Plate
When installing the QUANTUM® Securement
System, protect system from contacting sharp
corners and edges.
Occupant Securement
(US ONLY)
Install Shoulder and
Lap Belt Retractor
onto wall
Installed Retractor on the wall, it needs to be 48”
(1219mm) from floor and 6” (152mm) from the
Backrest Base and within the red rectangular space
of 6” x 12” (152mm x 304mm).
Stanchion Support (ONLY for
Buses Without Tapping Plates)
From the
Backrest Back
Install with a maximum 45 degree from
horizontal—3 options.

Floor Marker can ONLY be installed once.
