Reset Buttons
There are two pin holes on the bottom of the TSC-8 bezel. There is a button in each of holes used to restart or reset the TSC-8. Refer to
Figure 12
.
Use a paperclip or similar object, insert it into the hole, and press carefully to activate the button. The pin holes are not labeled; references in this
document are as you are facing the touchscreen. The Device Restart is on the bottom left, the Factory Reset is on the bottom right.
1. Device Restart (left side) – this function is the same as rebooting a computer. The unit does not turn off the power, but the operating system is
stopped then restarted.
2. Factory Reset (right side) – this function resets all network settings, and the Brightness control to the initial settings set by the factory. The defaults
from the factory are:

Network ID – TSC8-

= last four digits of the LAN A port MAC address)

Brightness control – centered
CompactFlash
The CompactFlash
(Figure 12)
is required for TSC-8 operation. Do not remove the CompactFlash Cover.
