Replacing Memory Modules
The TDS-h2489FU has 32 memory slots. You can increase the memory capacity of the NAS by upgrading
memory modules. For optimal performance, replace 8 memory modules for one CPU at the same time.
Use only QNAP memory modules to maintain system performance and stability. You can purchase QNAP
memory modules from authorized resellers.
Important
QNAP recommends installing modules in pairs to run dual-channel mode.
• Ensure that all modules are identical.
• Install the groups in sequence and follow the assigned slots for each group.
