Access Recordings via Network File Service
NVR provides the following three network file services for users to access the
recorded video files on NVR:

Windows Network Neighborhood (SMB/CIFS)
z
Web File Manager (HTTP)
z
FTP Server (FTP)
Note:
To access the video files directly via these protocols, you are required to enter
user name and password with administrator privileges.
4.2.1
Windows Network Neighborhood (SMB/CIFS)
You can access recorded files through SMB/CIFS protocol, which is popularly used in
Windows system. You can connect to the recording folder by either:

In Web Playback Interface, click
button.

In Windows XP, run “
\\NVR_IP \
” from Start menu. For example, from the
Start menu, click
Run
, then enter and run “\\192.168.1.201\” if the IP address
of your NVR is 192.168.1.201.
