Remove the toner cartridge from its packaging.

Caution:
Don’t touch the roller inside the toner cartridge.

Holding the cartridge by the ends, gently shake it a
few times to distribute the toner.

Pull out the toner seal at one end of the cartridge,
and discard the seal.
To avoid spilling toner, keep the toner cartridge upright (as
shown) after removing the toner seal.

Open the toner-cartridge access door.
