Connecting the Power Cord
The power cord connector is located at the rear of the printer. The
power switch is located at the lower right of the printer.

Caution:
Make sure that the printer power switch is turned off (the O
is pressed down).
1 Plug the power cord into the connector on the rear of the
printer.
2 Connect the opposite end of the power cord to a grounded
AC outlet.
3 Turn on the printer (press down the | side of the switch).
After a brief warm-up (2 minutes maximum) the printer produces
a start-up page.
