Open the Installer application.

If you’re using the SYSTEMDL.PS file (see the
table in the previous section), double-click the
PRINTSYSTEM.INSTALLER file icon.

If you’re using the SYSTEM.DL file (see the table
in the previous section), double-click the SYSTEM-
LOADER.1 icon.

In the dialog box that appears, change the Install
Location to the folder you created in step 2. Use the drop-
down list box to select Select Folder, in the Select the
Installation Folder dialog box select the appropriate disk
and folder, and then click Select.

Click Install to begin the installation.

When prompted, insert disk 2 of the system software.
The installation takes approximately 1.5 minutes. The
Installer places the appropriate system software file
(either SYSTEMDL.PS or SYSTEMLOADER) in the
folder you selected in step b.

When the installation is finished, you’re prompted to click
Quit to exit the Installer program.

DIRECTORY
is the name of the new
directory you created in step 2, and
x
is the name of the
disk drive in which you inserted Disk 1.

Follow the prompts. They instruct you to insert the
system software disks in the following order:

Last disk (system software disk 2)
n
Disk 1 (system software disk 1)
n
Disk 2 (system software disk 2)
