D. MAINTENANCE
Make sure the appliance has been turned off and if applicable detached from any energy
source.
CLEANING
Only use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the appliance clean. If the appliance is especially dirty, you
can use a cloth soaked in handwarm water to wipe it clean.
The appliance must be periodically cleaned. Before and after use always check for dust formation.
Clean of any dust with a dry clean cloth or brush.
PER SEASON
Before or after the season or other periods of frequent use, always clean the appliance case, filters
and tank. Make sure the tank is empty and no drain is connected when storing the appliance.
FILTERS
Clean your filters every week to avoid blocking of the air flow.

Take out the water container or disconnect the drain as described in the instructions.

Take out the screen filter.
3.
When present remove the disposable filter.
4.
Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner.
5.
Replace the disposable filter in first, then the screen filter. Make sure to lock the screen filter.
Replace the disposable filter when filth and dirt can no longer be removed with a vacuum cleaner.
The screen filter does not have to be replaced.
Never use the appliance without a screen filter. It can be used without the disposable filter
but this will impact the filtering process.
Guarantee and warranty conditions
There is a two-year warranty on your dehumidifier from the date of purchase. All material or
manufacturing defects will be repaired free of charge.
The following applies:
•
All claims for compensation, including consequential damage, will not be entertained.
•
Any repairs or replacement of components during the warranty period will not result in an
extension of the warranty period.
•
The warranty will expire if any alterations have been made, not genuine components have
been fitted or if the dehumidifier has been repaired by a third party.
•
Components subject to normal wear and tear, such as the air filter, are not covered by the
warranty.
•
The warranty is only valid on presentation of the original, unaltered, and date-stamped
purchase receipt.
•
The warranty does not cover damage caused by actions that deviate from those as described
in the user’s manual or by neglect.
•
Transportation costs and the risks involved during the transportation of the dehumidifier or
components shall always be for the account of the purchaser.
