4.6 Returning Defective Subassemblies
To return a faulty card to QEI, proceed as follows:
1. Wrap the subassembly (panel or card) with anti-static and shock-resistant
material.
2. Enclose a note with the package stating the fault symptoms.
3. Identify the system by QEI's Sales order number and original location in the
system.
Refer to Equipment Layout drawings (shipped with system) to locate
from where the panel was removed.
The location is specified as a boxed
letter such as the following:
01 ,
02 , etc.
4. Include a copy of the original purchase order or equivalent statement if the
panel is still under warranty.
5. Send the package via common carrier to:
