QTS Series Twin Screw Positive Displacement Pump

QTS-M04

After CIP cleaning an additional sterilization in place process (SIP) may be required when highly 

sensitive products are handled, inactivating any micro-organisms which might be still present in 

the pump.  The sterilization can be carried out by means of chemicals, hot water or steam.  In the 

dairy industry the sterilization temperature is approximately 145 °C (293 °F). Contact Q-Pumps in 

case of temperatures above 100 ºC (212 ºF).

 

Because of QTS pumps are capable to supply the CIP fluid running at high speed please provide 

system information for selecting the right values of rpm for CIP supply.

Normally when ordered, the QTS Pumps are selected for both, the application and for the CIP supply.
