The smoke alarm device can compensate
for this change up to a certain degree
through self-calibration.
Batteriealarm (Battery alarm)
A battery alarm (displayed as “Batt.-
Alarme”) is indicated by a signal tone
on the smoke alarm device when its
battery is weak and is recorded in the
memory of the smoke alarm device
(see operating manual for the smoke
alarm device).
Rauchalarm (Smoke alarm)
A s m o k e a l a r m ( d i s p l a ye d a s
“Rauchalarme”) is indicated by a signal
tone on the smoke alarm device and is re-
corded in the memory of the smoke alarm
device (see operating manual for the smoke
alarm device).
Temperaturalarm (Temperature alarm)
A temperature alarm (displayed as “Temp-
Alarme”) is indicated by a signal tone on the
smoke alarm device and is recorded in the
memory of the smoke alarm device (see op-
erating manual for the smoke alarm device).
Modulalarm (eingeschränkt)
(Module alarm (limited))
A module alarm (displayed as “Modulalarme”)
is triggered when a radio smoke alarm de-
vice receives a smoke alarm transmitted by
another radio smoke alarm device. When a
standalone device, i.e. a smoke alarm device
without radio function, is read out, the value
“0” is shown for this event.
Testkeyevent (Test key event)
This event (shown as “Testkey Event”) re-
cords how many times the Testing / stop
button was pressed on a smoke alarm device.
5.6 Malfunctions
The RWM MC cannot be switched on
If you are not able to switch on the
RWM MC by pressing the Start button
(see chapter 5.1 “Switch on the RWM MC“
on page 33), proceed as follows:

Press and hold the Start button
until a signal tone is heard.
(2)
If the device cannot be switched on,
replace the batteries. (See chapter 4.1
“Insert batteries“ on page 32)
