Connection socket for RJ plug
The RJ plug of the adapter cable is inserted
in the connection socket.
Display
You will be guided through the operating
menu of the RWM MC on the display.
The readout data from the smoke alarm
device is also shown on the display.
Adapter cable
The adapter cable serves to transfer data
between the smoke alarm device and the
RWM MC.
Start button
The Start button serves to switch the
device on and off as well as to operate
the RWM MC.
Triangular plug with protective cap
The triangular plug serves to connect the
smoke alarm device with the RWM MC.
Battery compartment
The energy supply for the RWM MC is
provided by batteries (2 x AAA, 1.5 V).
The two batteries are found in the bat-
tery compartment on the rear side of
the device.
The RWM MC has an internal battery
measurement, i.e. you will be informed
when the inserted batteries are weak and
must be replaced.
3.3 Error display
Errors are shown on the display of
the RWM MC.
The display texts of the
RWM MC are a supplement to the alarm
and alert tones of the read-out smoke
alarm device.
3.4 Operating modes
OFF
The RWM MC can be switched off manually
by pressing the Start button and automati-
cally using the energy-saving mode.
