USE THE CONTACT GRILL
1. Plug in your device.
2. The power indicator light (6) will turn on.
3. Once the device has been preheated, open the plates (4) and place the sandwich on the
grill plate.
Note: During the warm-up always have the plates closed.

Close the plates.

Leave your sandwich in the device to be cooked, depending on the bread type, the filing,
and your personal preference.
Hint: Your sandwich maker is also suitable for making sandwiches with baguette
bread.
Some filings, such as cheese, might melt and stick on the double non-stick ceramic
coating. To clean the plates from any food residue, use a plastic or wooden spatula. Never
use metal components, as they may scratch the non-stick ceramic surface of the plates
In addition, you may use your appliance with the plates in open / flat position: larger cooking
Surface.
In order to open the plates in flat position, please follow the steps below:
• Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
• Lift the hinged stand (3) into the upright position.
2. Place the mains plug into socket.
3. Preheat the sandwich maker for about 5 minutes with the plates opened.
4. Unplug the device from the mains.
This procedure is required for the first use only.
