HOW TO TIGHTEN A BANJO HEAD

A

B

To tighten it up, first take off most
of the thumb screws which holds
the resonator to the flange so you
can access all of the lugs that
tightens the head.

Remove all of the thumb screws that
hold the resonator to the flange.

Remove the banjo assembly from
the resonator and set that aside.

C

Tighten lug nuts. Start off on one
side and move towards the opposite
lug on the other side.

Tighten it kind of a fraction of a turn.
You have to two-thirds of a turn at a
time. Go around a circle in that same
sort of pattern.

Replace the resonator to the banjo
assembly and tighten back all the
thumb screws.
