NEVER CARRY OUT ANY WORK ON THE PUMP WITHOUT FIRST DISCONNECTING IT FROM THE
MAINS. FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE ABOVE PRECAUTIONS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE PUMP
AND INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY.
FAILURES
CAUSES
SOLUTION
Failure to start
Performance of the thermal protector
- If the engine is overheated, it will
not run.
Then wait for it to cool down (20-30
minutes).
Damaged heat shield
- Replace a new one
Faulty cable connection
- Insert the plug securely
- Reconnect the cable
Disconnected cord
- Replace the new cable
Defective engine
- Repair or replace the engine
Clogged impeller
- Clean the impeller
Voltage too low
- Consult with the electricity com-
pany
The engine opera-
tes without
pumping water
Problem in the non-return valve
- Remove the corner of the non-re-
turn valve, then clean the valve seat
and orifice.
Blocked foot valve filter unit
- Clean both
Suction air in the suction pipe
- After checking the pipe joints,
tighten them perfectly.
- Make sure that the foot valve is
submerged for at least 50 cm.
Air introduced into the pump from the mechani-
cal seal.
- Replace the new mechanical seal
Motor temperature
sensor operates too
frequently
Supply voltage too low or too high
- Consult with the electricity com-
pany
Impeller is in contact with another part. Impeller
blocked
-Check and repair defects
-Clean impeller
Capacitor open circuit short circuit
- Repairing the condenser
Pump starts even if
no water is used
Water leaks in the pipes or in the pump
Repair of pipes, pump and tap parts,
etc.
Water leaks in the mechanical settlement
Replace the mechanical seal
Insufficient flow
Aspiration lift has reached its limit
Check suction lift
Filtering device or partially blocked foot valve.
Check the valve or filter unit and
check the entire suction line if
necessary.
Impeller blocked
Dismantle the pump and carefully
clean the pump casing and impeller.
