“COOL” button - Only valid under FAN function
Press COOL button, if the water reach the level, the “COOL” indicator will be on and the water pump starts to work.
After about 3 minutes, a comfortable cool wind with moisture comes out.
Press it again to shut off. The COOL indicator turns off then fresh and dry wind comes out.
Notes:
If the COOL button is pressed when water is under low level, the alarm will sound and COOL indicator will continue to
blink about 10 secs. After 10 secs, the alarm sound stops and COOL indicator will also turn off.
The unit can be used without water as normal electrical fan. In this situation, please keep the COOL button in OFF
mode.
“ION” button
Press the ION button, the ION indicator will be on and the ionizer will start to work, the negative ions will come out
with the wind.
RESET INSTRUCTION:
1. This appliance is equipped a thermal overload protector to prevent overheating
2. When an overheat temperature is reached, the heater will be automatically shut off. It can only restart operation
when the user resets the unit.
3. Unplug the heater and wait 5-10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
4. After the 5-10 minutes, plug the unit in again and operate normally.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT!
Disconnect the plug from the power outlet before cleaning and maintenance.
The housing should be cleaned with damp cloth moistened with mild soap.
From time to time, depending on the nature of your water supply, you may need to clean the inside of the water tank.
This can be done in the following manner:
1) Fill the water tank with 1 cup (6 oz.) undiluted white vinegar;
2) Let solution stand for 20 minutes.
3) With the vinegar in the water tank, clean all interior surfaces with a soft cloth or brush to help remove scale.
4) Rinse the water tank thoroughly with water to remove scale and cleaning solution.
Draw out water tank and take out the stopper on the bottom of tank，water will be able to flow out automatically.
Clean the filter net and water curtain.
In order to keep good condition for humidifying and purifying, please clean the filtering system once every two weeks.
1. Remove the back cover with dust filter from the unit.
2. Take out the water curtain from the unit.
3. Wash the filter net and water curtain with water. Then put it under sunlight to dry.
4. Fix the dry water curtain into unit.
5. Fix the back cover with dry filter onto the unit.
