The  circuit  of  the  shock  protection  shall  be  performed  with  a  particular  care,  i.e.  the
yellow and green protection wire of the power cable shall be connected from one side to

the terminal marked by the symbol of

in the casing of the power-supply. Operation of

the  power-supply  without  the  properly  made  and  fully  operational  circuit  of  the  shock
protection is UNACCEPTABLE! It can result in failure of devices and electric shock.

4. Connect the loads cables to the terminals V + (+), GND (-) of the power supply module.
5. Connect the power (~230V)
6. Connect the battery in accordance with the markings (colours):
- battery output (+V):  BAT+ cable / red,
- battery output (0V):  BAT – cable / GND / black.
7. Check the power supply operation indicator:  LED diode (green on the power supply module).
8. Check the power supply output voltage:
- the unloaded output voltage should be U=13.8V DC.
9. After installing and checking the proper function of the power supply, the case can be closed.

3. Indication of power supply operation status.

3.1 Optical indication of operation status.

The power supply is equipped with an optical indicator of the output voltage state.

LED diode (green) on the PCB panel indicates:

- Lit = DC voltage at the power supply output
- Not lit = no DC voltage at the power supply output

4. Service and use.

4.1 Overload or short circuit of the power supply output (SCP operation).

In the case of overload of the power supply an automatic disconnection of the output voltage takes place,

signalled  by  the  shut  off  of  the  LED  diode.    The  return  of  voltage  will  take  place  automatically  after  the  failure
(overload) is corrected.

4.2 Disconnection of discharged battery.

The  power  supply  includes  a  disconnection  system  for  discharged  buffer  batteries.  During  the  battery’s

operation, a lowering of voltage at the battery terminals to below 9.5 V causes battery disconnection.

4.3 Maintenance.

All  maintenance  procedures  can  be  performed  after  the  disconnection  of  the  power  supply  from  the

electrical  grid.  The  power  supply  does  not  require  any  special  maintenance  procedures,  but  in  the  case  of
significant dust accumulation, dusting using compressed air is recommended.
