When the electrical connection is outside, it is recommended that a waterproof socket is 
used for the connection / termination. 

 

 

If any trouble, please see a suitable qualified electrician – or contact ptg|event services

1.

 

Unscrew the terminal box cover at the back of the heater and feed the supply cable through the 
compression fitting. 

 

2.

 

Use a heat resistant supply wiring with ground. The live and neutral wires must be covered with the 
protective silicon casings provided before connecting them to the terminal block. – see figure 1 

 

3.

 

The green/yellow wire should be connected to the clamp marked with the ground symbol 

 

4.

 

Tighten the barrel nut of the compression fitting so the rubber seal grips the cable. The seal can be 

adjusted to accommodate cables of approx 3/8” diameter. – see figure 2 

 

5.

 

Replace the terminal box cover and tighten the screws 

 

6.

 

Ensure that the cover is secured well to prevent water ingress

Allow the heater to cool before attempting to reposition/move. Never attempt to move the 

heater with it switched on.

 

 

 

The heater must be mounted in such a way that the halogen emitter does not slant more 

than 4” from the horizontal.

 

 

 

Observe the minimum safe distance between the heater body and inflammable surfaces 

when mounting.

 

 

 

Please refer to table 1 for the recommended position of the heater 

 

 

Keep out of the reach of children.

 

 

1.

 

Securely fasten the bracket to the mounting surface using the fixing holes in the mounting bracket. 
The torque of the bracket fastening screws must be at least 8Nm

 

 

2.

 

Securely fasten the heater on the bracket using the nut and bolt supplied - see figure 1 & 2

In the event of heater failure or for spare parts, please contact ptg|event services at 888.401.2020. 
 

 

Disconnect the power before starting any maintenance procedure including cleaning.
