INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set up a safe work area. You can tape the iron holder to a piece of
ceramic tile or other heavy base for added stability, to help prevent tipping
over as well as protecting any surfaces where working.
2. Use a glass or metal dish or tray to place hot tips or other pieces while
cooling. It is suggested that you allow the unit to completely cool before
changing tips. If not possible, use needle nose pliers or the like to
change tips without touching the hot tips.
WARNINGS
1. Be sure tool is set to “0” power setting before plugging in and turning on
unit. Unplug unit when finished and stepping away.
2. Allow unit to cool completely before storing, changing tips or otherwise
handling the tip.
3. Rest the tip on the stand during breaks or when finished using.
4. Do not leave tool unsupervised or within the reach of children or un-
trained users.
5. Do not expose tool to water or moisture. Use only indoors.

7. Use only in well ventilated areas. Do not use while eating or drinking.
8. Always wash your hands after using this tool.
9. Wear proper protective breathing masks as some woods may contain
adhesives that emit dangerous fumes when burned.
WARNING: NEVER CHANGE A HOT TIP WITH YOUR FINGERS.
3. Protect your work surface with aluminum foil, a high temperature fiber
board or a piece of plywood.
4. Familiarize yourself with the unit and various tips and accessories.
5. Plug in your wood burner and allow it a few minutes to reach operating
temperature.

until you are comfortable with the operation. You can adjust the depth/
richness of the burn depending on how long you leave the tip in place and
how much pressure is applied.
8. Experiment on a practice surface with various speeds and different tips
until you are comfortable enough to begin your pyrography project.
