MTT International Back Trainer is designed for muscular
stabilization of the lateral flexors.
Application
Depending on the training condition of the patient, different starting positions can be set via the manual
adjustment. This makes the back trainer suitable for beginners as well as for people who are already
trained. The degree of difficulty of the exercise is increased when the training position is increasingly
changed to horizontal and the patient works more against gravity. A scale is provided to help control
the training position. This means that the same starting position can be adopted again for the next
workout. The height of the support pad on the abdomen can be adjusted to the patient's height - this
ensures that the axis of rotation is optimally set up according to the training goal. Optional: For training
the lateral flexors, the patient positions himself laterally in the device. An additional pelvic stabilization
pad prevents twisting and overstretching of the lumbar spine during exercise. As with training the back
extensors, the degree of difficulty can be changed by altering the starting angle.
