Configuring Installation Switch
The installation switch on the connection panel determines the operating
mode of the hardware units. The following table provides an overview.
Use the installation switch to configure a hardware unit as a call server. Have
all additional hardware units automatically configured as gateways 2 to 4
Note the following points regarding the hardware switch.
●
The installation switch is queried when a hardware unit is supplied with
power.
●
Switching the installation switch during operation is not permitted and
will generate an error message.
●
The automatic configuration of the gateways only functions without error
when the switch positions (“2”, “3” or “4”) are definite for the gateways.
●
The “9” switch position restores the factory settings (see
