The wheel stopper set is used to mount bicycles with wide tyres measuring up to
3.25 inches on to bike carrier. The set replaces the excisting series wheel stopper
of the Pro-User bicycle carriers Diamant SG2, Diamant SG2plus and Diamant SG3.
ASSEMBLY
Before you are able to use the wheel stopper set, you must first remove the
standard wheel stopper of your bike carrier.
To do so, proceed as follows:
Remove the bicycle from the bike carrier.
Release the wingnut (2) from the standard wheel stopper.
Push the wheel
stopper (3)
towards the
inner end of the
wheel rail and
use it to push
the end cap (1)
out of the wheel
rail.
Pull the wheel
stopper out of
the wheel rail (if
necessary,
remove the T-
bolt (4) first).
Repeat this for
the other wheel
holder(s).
Insert the new wheel stopper (1) with the guiding ridge into the wheel rail so
that the strap buckle is positioned in between the two wheel holders.
Set the wheel
stopper for your
bicycle and
tighten the wing
nut (4)
securely.
Replace the end
caps (5).
Repeat this for
the other wheel
holder(s).
