Dual Mono
Turns mono audio on and off and configures how it is mixed:
•
Stereo
—No mono
•
Mono Left
—Left channel only
•
Mono Right
—Right channel only
•
Mix Mono
—Left and right channels mixed
Down Sample
Selects the sample rate used for digital audio output: 48kHz or 96kHz
Speaker
Turns the built-in speakers on and off
TV Function Setup
The TV Function Setup menu configures the TV
tuner.
The menu items are as follows:
TV Signal
Sets the type of TV signal the tuner uses:
•
Antenna
—Used when an antenna is
connected to the player’s TUNER input
•
CATV
—Used when a cable TV signal is connected to the player
•
CATV IRC
—Incrementally Related Carrier mode cable TV (a type of cable signal primarily
used on the East Coast of the US)
•
CATV HRC
—Harmonically Related Carrier mode cable TV (a type of cable signal primarily
used on the West Coast of the US)
Note:
If you are connecting directly to a cable TV wall outlet, contact your cable company
to find out which system is used in your area. CATV IRC will work with most systems.
Auto Search
Scans the signal spectrum and weeds out the channels with insufficient signal strength
System Setup
The System Setup menu configures access to
mature content, allowing you to block mature
content with a password. In addition, you can reset
all player settings back to factory defaults.
The menu items are as follows:
Password
Locks and unlocks parental control settings
with a password
If the lock icon is closed, the settings are locked—enter the current password to unlock the
settings. The factory default password is '0000'.
If the lock icon is open, the settings are unlocked. To lock them, enter a new password.
