• This engine is intended for use in model cars. Do not attempt to use it for any
other purpose.
• Mount the engine in your model securely. Always follow the manufacturer
recommendations, using the appropriate screws and locknuts.
• Install an effective throttle return device. This will close the carburetor in the event
that battery power is lost during operation.
• Install an effective silencer (tuned pipe). Frequent close exposure to a noisy
exhaust (especially in the case of more powerful high speed engines) may eventually
impair your hearing and such noise is also likely to cause annoyance to others.
• Eye protection is highly recommended.
• Ensure that the linkage to the throttle arm is secure.
• As a safety precaution, maintain a 20 foot (6 meters) distance between your model
and all bystanders (especially small children).
