
1. To override the Auto Power Off function, during measurement, press the
Record
key to ex-
ecute the memory record function. The unit will not automatically turn itself off while in the
record function.

Contrast
A. It may be necessary to adjust the display contrast because of a change in the viewing angle or bat-
tery power voltage drift.
1. To adjust the contrast, remove the instrument from the rubber holster, and with your finger
roll the
LCD Contract Adjust
knob until the LCD display is easily read.
2. After adjusting, replace the unit back into the rubber holster for protection.
VII.
Battery Replacement
A. When the left corner of the LCD display shows
LBT
, it indicates a normal battery output of less
than 6.5V - 7.5V. It is necessary to replace the battery. When you see the
LBT
display, an in-spec
measurement may still be made for several hours after the low battery indicator appears before
the instrument becomes inaccurate.
1. To replace the battery, remove the unit from the rubber
holster.
2. Pry the Battery Cover open with a coin or screwdriver
and remove the battery.
3.
Replace with a 9V battery (heavy duty type) and re-
place the battery cover.
4.
Make sure the battery cover is secured after changing
the battery.
5.
Place the unit back into the rubber holster for protec-
tion.
