The units printed on the keypad under the unit button DO correspond to the units on the display,
however the sequence of units (order in which they appear on the display) is not as listed on the
keypad. The first unit that is displayed when the meter is powered up is m/sec, however, when
the units button is pressed, the next units displayed are km/hour.
Typically, ionizers are measured in feet per minute (ft/min)
E. Turn the ionizer on for 30 minutes to warm up prior to attempting to measure the ionizer air flow.
1. The heater should be
OFF
if the ionizer to be measured is so equipped.
2. All filters should be in place is the ionizer is so equipped.
F. Hold the sensor head vane parallel to, and in the center of, the ionizer stream.
1. The side of the vane with the yellow dot should be facing the ionizer
2. Position the vane approximately 12 inches away from the ionizer

To automatically record measurements, engage the record feature as outlined in
section II

Record measurements for 2 - 3 minutes

Auto Power Off Feature
A. This unit will automatically turn itself off after 10 minutes if no function keys are pressed within
this period of time.
