level) is the scale used. Sound pressure is measured in
microPascals. The range of audible sound is from 20 to
200,000,000 microPascals. The dBSPL scale is a logarithmic
scale representing these units in a manageable way. The

Sound Amplifier is measured in dBSPL. The citation test data
for the ProSonic IIe™ Hearing Sound Amplifiers on the earlier
page and the frequency response curve charts in the above
of this page are obtained on testing of the device against the
ANSI S3.22-2003 standard which is in compliance with the Class I
device listing requirements of Food & Drug Administration.
