Using the Sample ProSoft Configuration Builder Files
The sample application uses a 5604-RIO-PDPMV1 module to establish
communications between a PLC5 and the PROFIBUS DP network. The following
diagram illustrates this application.
You can use this guide in two ways. First, you can use it as a learning tool to see
how the PCB files make the sample application work. You can also follow along
with the example and modify the configuration files as you go along.
Whether you are configuring your modules on the fly or just reading through to
understand how to use the sample application, there are steps that you must
perform even if you are not yet configuring any modules to suit your own
application.
