Install the motor mounting plate to the ceiling

Using a power drill with a

in. drill bit attached, drill six pilot holes into the center of the joists.

Using the ratchet and

in. socket (T) fasten 6 of the 4 in. lag bolts (K) into the joists until the motor mounting plate is securely
fastened.
